What you receive
Every assignment produces documents that can be used directly by the project manager, the contractor, the authority and the owner.
Survey report
A structured document identifying the materials, their location, the analysis results and the risk classification.
Materials map
Annotated plans showing positive, suspect and clear areas, floor by floor and room by room.
Laboratory results
Analysis reports from the ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, with sample references and the methods used.
Recommendations for the works
Measures to take before, during and after the works, depending on the pollutant and the risk identified.
Photographic record
Photos of every sampling point and of the materials inspected, included in the report for traceability.
End-of-remediation record
If Batiscan follows the remediation: visual checks, measurements and end-of-works documentation, as required.
How a survey works
Every survey follows the same four steps, from first contact to report.

Initial scope
You describe the building and the planned works. Within 24 working hours you receive an initial scope: the right survey, any missing information and the recommended next steps.

Site visit and sampling
On-site survey of suspect materials. Samples are taken discreetly and the sampling points are neatly filled in.

Laboratory analyses
Samples are analysed by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.

Report
Delivered within 10 working days of the site visit, analyses included, in line with EKAS/CFST directive 6503 and the ASCA methodology: mapping of materials, results and recommendations.
Two exceptions: for a portfolio of several buildings, a scoping phase of usually 2 to 3 weeks comes before the site visits; in urgent cases, laboratory analyses can be obtained within 24 to 48 hours.
